.NET Domain Name Registrations
When the Dot NET generic domain name extension was initially launched in 1985, along with the first domain extensions on the World Wide Web, it was meant to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure companies. Considering the fact that there were no particular regulations about the usage of the TLD, though, dot NET domains were reserved and used for different purposes and by lots of people. This TLD represents a good substitution for dot COM, particularly if the necessary domain with the latter extension is not available for registration.
Reserving a .NET domain with our firm is easy and takes barely a couple of minutes, given that we are partners with an ICANN-approved registrar company. You can buy such a domain for an interval between one and ten years, or, if you already own a domain, you can transfer it to our company and we will renew it once the transfer process is finished. Transfers are possible for all domains, which are at least 60 days old, provided that they are not locked and that you have an EPP transfer code – security measures introduced by the .NET Registry against unauthorized transfers. You can easily change the WHOIS details of the domain through your Control Panel, or, if you don't wish this info to be public at all, you can get a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to check your actual contact information.
The .NET top-level domain extension supports internationalized names, so you can select if you want to target a specific country or territory using a domain name in the regional language, or the global web community – using a generic English name.
